My works are born out of my experiences and fears. Exploring the conceptual and visual motifs of memory and archive is particularly important in my work. Conceptually, I draw on the studies of Jan and Aleida Assmann as primary sources.  I also use various floral symbols as representational solutions. I am not only expressing my own identity but also creating metaphorical images that combine previous experience and knowledge of art.
